Dear Parents,

Every year, The East Longmeadow Lions Club has generously donated a sum of money to Meadow Brook School to fund technology in our building. Last year, we were able to purchase a digital camera for use in our classrooms. Many of the displays that you may see in our classrooms are made possible by this technology. This year, we are asking the Lion’s Club to assist us in buying a digital camcorder. Currently, we do not own a functional video camera and often have to ask our parents to donate the use of their home equipment.

The Lion’s Club is able to fund these requests from conducting fundraisers throughout the year. On January 19, 2005, the Lion’s Club will be holding their annual dinner at Pasquale’s Ristorante to help in their fundraising effort.
